It's very obvious the wrens have babies. Check out this video on our Facebook page. You can't see them, but you can certainly hear them.

And speaking of hearing, what we don't hear a lot of now are the adult wrens singing crazily. Maybe they're far too busy caring for their brood. And though we don't hear the tree swallow babies, we are pretty certain that they're there. Where, before, the swallows would sit on the wire near the nest box and usually only the female would enter, there's no more dilly dallying. As one swallow approaches the box, the other vacates. And this happens a lot. They have to be bringing food back.

Summer at Grosbeak Gardens. Can't beat it!
